Forge Row, Codnor Park.

A mixture of detached bungalows and semi-detached houses off Forge Row. An award winning scheme of 45 homes, with planning permission for a further 40 homes on an adjacent site. All credit to Griffiths Superior Homes who were investing heavily in Ironville when no-one else would and have undoubtedly contributed to it’s increasing popularity as a place to live. Project value approx £3 million

Village Centre, Jacksdale

This scheme for nine 2 bed starter homes is exactly what the area needed and makes a great contribution to the streetscape in Jacksdale village centre. Built on a brownfield site formerly occupied by a large pub. Project Value approx £700k

Derby Road, Heanor

Another brownfield site, this time partly a pub and partly Severn Trent Water storage facility, the site was full of concrete rubble from demolition of the water tanks. Built to quite a high density, largely in a courtyard, the 19 homes were originally designed for Griffiths Homes. After obtaining planning permission the site was sold to Michael Goodall Homes who built out the project. Nearing completion, ready for sales now ! Project value approx £1.5million

Designed by Jonathan, this pair of substantial detached dwellings was designed for a small local developer. Project value approx £200k at 1998 prices

Station Road, Duffield

A pair of semi detached house, these are actually three storey to make the greatest us of a very small site backing onto the railway lines near Duffield Station. Designed by David for a local business trying it’s hand at housing development. Project value approx £200k

Nelson Street, Heanor

Described by Amber Valleys chief planning officer at the time as a “very clever little urban infill” this scheme of 5 new homes is another brownfield re-development built on the site of a former working mens club. A very tight site with some dramatic changes of level around. Finalist in the “Best Small Housing Site” in the Local Authority Building Control Awards 2008. Project value approx £400k

Lawnswood, Belper

A development of two very large luxury detached homes built on the steeply sloping rear garden of an older property, which itself was renovated and extended by ourselves. Project value approx £450k
